This gorgeous Grizzly was happily munching on dandelions when we saw her. My husband made a poor decision and got out of our car. The kids and I specifically told him not to. But he did. My husband loves bears and we so rarely see them. We were at least a couple of bus lengths away but he still should not have got out. This grizzly had her gaze fixed on him. Curious, fearful or angry? who knows. Perhaps this was her "Grizzly's don't share food" look. Either way it was a memorable moment. It wasn't long before My husband was safely back in the car without incident and we were on our way. Leaving her to her salad.
